Registration

All prices are in Australian dollars.

Tickets will be on sale until 30 July 2020. Early bird ticket sales end June 30th. Tickets are sold on a first-come-first-served basis.

Give it to someone who will value it as a gift or sell it to someone else. Tickets are not refundable.

Location

This is an online conference, over three days across three time zones. Attend from the comfort of your desired location.

Yes. We have an app and LinkedIn group for you to hang out with your tribe post the event and allow the learning to continue.

Maybe. At least be decent from the waist up. 😜

Conference

Yes. Recordings will be available for those who purchased tickets for that specific day. If you want all recordings, you’ll need to purchase tickets for all days.

Anything that is made public during the event, such as you commenting in the chat of a session, will be available in the recordings. Recordings will only be made available to those who purchased a ticket.

We will enable closed captioning on zoom. We will be aiming to meet AA standards.

The Show

The Selection Process

Simple! You’ll complete the Typeform, upload three examples of work you’re proud of, we’ll review it and let you know if you’ve been chosen. No work submitted will be shown to the public.

First Three Rounds

You’ll be given a brief that you need to work to. You’ll develop your solution in whatever tool YOU deem fit (Adobe XD, Authoring Tool etc.)

You will send over your mockup with approximately 200 words explaining the solution to the client.

The community will vote via YouTube on their favourite solution.

Three Final Rounds

You’ll again work to a brief. You’ll develop your solution in whatever tool YOU deem fit (Adobe XD, Authoring Tool etc.)

You will send over a 3-minute screen capture via loom walking us through your solution to the client.

The community will vote via YouTube on their favourite solution.

Other Questions

It’s a competition, so you’ll be eliminated.

No. It will be openly available on the world wide web. By entering, you give permission for this to occur.

Speakers

The Selection Process

Simple! You’ll complete the Typeform, we’ll review your application and we’ll let you know if you’ve been chosen in the first week of July.

Benefits

If you’re chosen and you speak, you’ll receive $400 AUD and a will be provided with a three day all access pass to the conference.

Sessions

We would like your topic to focus on at least one of the following fields:

  • Instructional Design
  • Multimedia Creation
  • Costing & Quoting
  • eLearning Development
  • Project Management
  • Tools and Resources

We are looking for sessions that as follows:

  • showcase an experience
  • form a panel discussion
  • take learners through a process of creating something.

Yes. In these sessions you’re not going to be speaking with your audience, you’re going to be interacting with them.

All sessions are a total of 45 minutes. 35 minutes of expert time and a 10 minute Q&A.

The whole conference will be live.

Yes. However, they will not receive the same benefits as you.

Yes. We’re putting the attendees at the heart of your session so you will be serving their needs by answering their questions.

Recordings will be available for those who purchased their specific type of ticket.

One days recording for a one day pass and three days recordings on an all access pass.

Yes, in the form of an audition. After the audition, you will need to implement feedback to refine your session and do a practice run before the live event.

You may be on video depending on how you run your session. Just be yourself!
